Billing and Financial Assistance
The quality care you receive at Star Valley Medical Center starts with the admission process, continues through the services you receive from our medical staff and ends with the collection of your bill. Our SVMC revenue cycle team, including admissions, transcription, coding, billing, and medical records, are here to support you.
At SVMC the purpose of the admissions process is to obtain correct information so that you receive the appropriate care and that your insurance company is properly billed. You will also be provided information to help make your stay easier, and will be given an opportunity to ask questions about your hospital stay and how billing for your services will be managed. For your protection and safety, you will be asked to provide a photo ID and insurance card each time you visit. We will be collecting the patient’s responsibility portion of the hospital/clinic applicable fees/charges at the time of service.
SVMC is the local health care leader that provides quality services for our customers to enhance health and quality of life. Our doors remain open to anyone who needs emergency care, regardless of his or her ability to pay. We know that insurances don’t meet all of your financial needs and SVMC is willing to work with you.
