Independent Family Practice
Independent Family Practice is an outreach clinic of Star Valley Medical Center in Thayne, Wyoming and serves the residents and visitors of Star Valley with quality healthcare services such as obstetric care and treatment of minor injuries, lacerations, broken bones, colds, coughs, and burns.
With the addition of Dr. Christian Morgan seeing patients at Independent Family Practice in Thayne on Wednesdays and Fridays, we are excited to continue to provide excellent, compassionate, health care services to our community. We continue to offer urgent care and walk-in services at this location Monday through Friday, as well as, services provided by appointment by calling 883-4437 for Dr. Hageman and Dr. Kirk and 885-5848 for Dr. Morgan.
Independent Family Practice is located at 122 Peterson Parkway in Thayne, Wyoming and is open Monday - Friday with various hours of operation to cater to a variety of different schedules.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 9:00 am - 12:00 and 2:00 - 5:00 pm
Wednesday & Friday 8:30 am - 1:00 pm and 2:00 - 5:00 pm
Dr. Kirk will continue seeing patients at the Alpine Family Medical Clinic in Alpine, Wyoming on Wednesdays from 9:30 -5:30 with Independent Family Practice scheduling these appointments at 883-4437.
Dr. Morgan will continue seeing patients at Star Valley Family Physicians in Afton, Wyoming on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:00 - 5:00 pm. To schedule an appointment, please call 885-5848.
Alpine Family Medical Clinic
Alpine Family Medical Clinic is an outreach clinic of Star Valley Medical Center located in Alpine, Wyoming and serves the residents and visitors of Star Valley with quality healthcare services and minor emergencies. To expedite our care to our patients, and to avoid wait times, appointments are preferred and can be made by calling the office at 654.7138 to schedule your visit. If unable to schedule an appointment, walk-in visits are welcome and patients will be seen between pre-scheduled appointments.
The Clinic is open Monday - Friday with various hours of operation to cater to a variety of different schedules.

Wednesday By appointment with Dr. Kirk's office
Ruthanne Taylor, Doctor of Nursing and Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, staffs the clinic on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday as the primary healthcare provider. She started with Alpine Family Medical Clinic in January 2009 and specializes in women's health services, wellness visits, travel medicine, minor factures and lacerations, cold and flu and routine checkups.
Wayne Hoffsinger, Medical Assistant and Tami Simone, Receptionist, also staff the Clinic on these days.
Dr. Donald J. Kirk, Independent Family Practice Physician, staffs the Clinic on Wednesdays. Appointments can be made to see him by calling his office at 883-4437.
Alpine Family Medical Clinic has contracted with AllScripts, LLC; a pharmaceutical company to supply limited quantities and varieties of prescription medications within the clinic for patient's needs since there is not a pharmacy located nearby. This is not a retail pharmacy, but is an added service for patients with acute illness to leave with prescriptions in hand after they have been seen by a healthcare provider at the clinic.
